BUMBLEance is the difference that transforms a child’s journey with illness. Our charity provides journeys for children to access healthcare settings in a safe, caring, and fun environment. By offering these door-to-door journeys free of charge, we alleviate the concerns of parking, tolls, and comfort. Parents can focus on what they do best: caring for their child.
We work on behalf of the over 8,000 families with children who have life-limiting conditions across Ireland. Over the last decade, we’ve grown from a one-vehicle regional service to a national charity whose fleet reaches every county in Ireland. However, this is only the tip of the iceberg. In 2024, we received so much demand that we could not fulfil approximately 348 trips due to our limited resources.
Our services will always be 100% free and available in every corner of Ireland. All of the services we offer are entirely powered by funds raised. Over the last decade, our network of supporters has allowed BUMBLEance to travel over 2.5 million kilometres and reach hundreds of children who would otherwise have limited access to their healthcare.
